When age and wear set in, even getting up and down becomes part of the challenge. There is a better way. Ground Stalker was founded by Douglas Davis in Missouri. Doug is an avid hunter and outdoorsman who needed a better way to carry his equipment and a real solution to sitting on the ground or standing for long periods.

Starting in 2007 with a simple idea, Doug began building his own pack using whatever he could get his hands on. The first version used repurposed crutches for the legs and feet. From there, the design kept evolving. Real hunts. Real terrain. Real adjustments. Doug worked with local machinists, welders, and sewing specialists across the Missouri Ozarks to refine the system. Each version improved strength, balance, and usability. After years of field testing and feedback from other hunters, it became clear this needed to go beyond a personal project. Ground Stalker is built from actual use.
